how to backup my Google Chrome Bookmarks

  1. You can easily back up your bookmarks and more by syncing them to your Google account. To set up sync, go to Wrench > Options > Personal Stuff > Set up sync. To access your bookmarks on another computer, enable Google Chrome sync on that computer. You can learn more about sync in the article in my references
  2. As 3xl4x mentioned, you can also export your bookmarks by going toWrench > Bookmark manager > Organize > Export bookmarks. You can import the resulting html into Chrome and other browsers when necessary..

How to Backup Your Firefox Bookmarks

  1.  If you wish to export your bookmarks as an HTML file, go to Import and Backup > Export HTML.  That will give you the more traditional .html backup.
  2. From the Firefox menu bar go to Bookmarks >  Organize Bookmarks to bring up your bookmarks manager.  Now you want to click the top button that says Import and Backup.

Next, select Backup.  This will bring up a “Save As” box where you can save your bookmarks to any location.
Microsoft Internet Explorer

  1. Within Internet Explorer, click the File menu and Import and Export.
  2. Within the Import and Export window click Next.
  3. Click Export Favorites and click Next.
  4. Select the folder you wish to backup; if you wish to backup all favorites, leave the Favorites folder highlighted and click Next.
  5. Select the destination you wish to save the favorites and click Next.
  6. Click Finish.
